Evil Prevails

I’m sure you have seen the news about new abortion law that have passed and some law makers who  are trying to pass smilar law in their state.

If you are like me, you too are also bothered by it or maybe you have cried about it. The new law is sick and it is pure evil. For so many years the pro-life movement had fought and continues to fight for  the sancity of life.  For years, it felt like a defeat since abortion has not be overturned.

Allow me to share what the Lord laid in my heart since February 3rd. This might sound crazy and an impossible assignment but I’m doing it anyway because I have to be obedient.

I realized that we are in a world right now that doesn’t value human life and it has been happening for many, many years. We value animals, material objects, jobs and a whole lot of things and when we lose those things it brings us pain, disappointment, and it bothers people. But human life has not been given that kind of value.

What hurts me is knowing that every human life was bought and paid for by the blood and death of Jesus.

On February 3rd, the Lord opened my eyes and put a burden in my heart that brought me to tears. The Lord laid in my heart to bury the aborted babies. It was a scary thought and sounds like a difficult assignment. First of all, I have not been inside abortion clinics and I don’t know anybody from any pro-life groups. I support pro-life movements but I can say that I am not an activist. The first pro-life rally that I’ve been to is the one in Lorton Virginia on February 2nd. So, what I’m saying to you is that I am not qualified to do this assignment.

The Lord assured me that I will not be doing this alone. He assured me that He will give me the right people who are passionate about this issue and would like to do something. I just want to be obedient to Him and do whatever He wants me to do.

I know there are several issues that I have to deal with and have to consider. To name a few:

1. How to obtain the babies.
2. Burial Site (called, “Not Forgotten”)
3. State laws
4. Maintaining the site

I have prayed about it and that’s all that I have to say about the issues. It looks like an impossible task but I also know that I serve a God of the IMPOSSIBLE.

This burial site will also serve as a memorial for the babies that will bring healing for the women who had an abortion. I also care for all the women as well and my desire is for all of them to be able to heal and move on. I have friends who had an abortion and I feel for them and grieve with them.

So, maybe you wonder why God has given me this specific task instead of just fighting to stop abortion once and for all. Yes, I can do that together with the rest of the pro-life groups which is good but stopping abortion is not my fight. I am not called to stop abortion. I am called to honor the babies who died. I am called to value their lives even though they weren’t given the chance to live. I am called to help bring healing, grace and forgiveness to the women who had an abortion.

I don’t know how this is going to unfold but I trust that God has this all planned out. I’m not going to worry about anything. I will not going to listen to any negative voices out there. They are not God. They don’t know what God has planned and what God wants to do. My God is bigger than the problem. My God is bigger than the enemy. My God is bigger than the government. My God is bigger than any earthly laws. My God is in control. My God is mighty.

It is with great conviction that it is important to do something for the aborted babies. This evil society is killing God’s children and we are standing by doing nothing. We are troubled in our hearts but we are not doing anything. Yes, this has been going on for years. Yes, the aborted babies are being mutilated and they are being sold to different companies. Some are thrown in garbage dumpsters. Yes, they are not considered as humans. But year after year, we stood by and did nothing. Why do we allow this evil society to treat human babies as garbage and products to be profitted. We cry and get angry when girls and boys are sold in the sex traffic industry. We get angry when animals are killed and mistreated but it’s okay for our babies to be killed and treated as garbage and ingredients of different products? 

For me, this is not okay. I am done doing absoultely NOTHING! I am done being silent. I am done allowing evil to keep doing its work. Evil prevails when God’s people do nothing. Evil prevails when God’s people keep silent. Evil prevails when we stand in fear. Evil prevails when we allow evil to run its course. 

James said in James 4:17 “So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”

Habakkuk 1:13 says, “You can’t condone evil! So why don’t you do something about this? Why are you silent now? This outrage! Evil men swallow up the righteous and you stand around and watch! (MSG translation)

When we stand up and do something just like when David decided that he had enough of Goliath taunting and defiling God and His people we will finally show the world that our God is supreme and mighty and His power rests on His people. If we like David, stands up and faces Goliath we will be able to put an end to the world’s defilement of God’s word and His creation. Everything around us is created by the Creator God Almighty. Evil has no right to define what is around us. This world and this govenment has no right to say that a baby inside the womb is not human. Man didn’t create the world but God did. Man didn’t create man but God did. Man has no right to end life and to treat man the way it’s being treated now. It is foolish to ignore God. In the end we will all face Him and not man. 

Are we going to continue to be silent and do nothing or are we going to finally do something in the midst of evil. Ephesians 5:16 says, “making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.”

This is our opportunity to do what is right for the aborted babies. This is our opportunity to show the world that we stand with God to honor and recognize that babies are human beings and they are valuable. This is an opportunity for God’s people to rise up together against the work of this evil generation. This is an opportunity to take the authority and to reign. This is our opportunity to overcome evil by doing something good and right. This is our opportunity to show the world that we will not be a push over and we are not defeated. We are saved not only so we can go to heaven but also to destroy the work of the enemy. 

Will you join this army. Will you stand for the unborn and honor their lives? Will you?
